Commodities have a reputation for being a nice hedge against inflation. Their reputation does not hold up.

Oh, those wily scammers and their tricks! There is a new scam out aimed at Schwab clients.
A few hints:1) If someone calls to say you have a problem with your account, call the number you know not the number they tell you to call.
2) Scammers prey on urgency. But the IRS, local police, etc will not demand payment immediately. Stop and talk with someone you trust before you do anything.
