DFA Reduces Fund Fees
Good news from DFA--they have decreased many mutual fund fees starting at the end of this month. Almost everyone's portfolio will be impacted (yeah!). 

DFA moving into ETFs
And speaking of news from DFA, they have (finally!?) moved into ETFs.
An ETF acts quite like a mutual fund, but its price changes throughout the trading day, instead of settling at the end of the day.
But the biggest impact for us is there is no $25 trade fee for them at Schwab! If you have a brokerage account (so not an IRA or Roth, but just a regular account), some of your mutual funds will automatically turn into ETFs sometime soon.

Will 2021 give "normal" returns? Probably not
We just got through an emotional 2020. Will the market just settle down and return to average? Probably not--at least if history tells us anything about what the future might be like.
